Our public run days are held on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 11am to 2pm. It’s always a good idea to check out our facebook page on the morning of a run day if the weather looks like it will rain or be too hot, as we will cancel in those instances.

Train rides are $3 for two laps of our main-line loop and take about 6 minutes. You must have closed in footwear if you want to ride. Children under 10 must have adult supervision. Friendly dogs on leads are always welcome to visit, but they cannot ride and they must be ok with whistles, horns and all other train noises. Sausage sizzle, soft drinks, tea & coffee are available and are all $3 each. Soup is usually available for $5 a cup during the colder months. We accept cash, EFTPOS and pay-wave.

You’ll often see the Peterborough United Machinery Preservation Society at our run days with a display of their historic vehicles. Well worth a look and a chat!

Please be aware that we have full audio visual coverage of the track and surrounds 24/7. Your image and audio may be recorded, stored locally and on the cloud for some time. No doubt other people will also be taking video and photos on the day. We don’t mind, but some people do, so please try and be respectful of each other. Taking photos when you are a passenger on a train is not allowed, as it can lead to derailments, like when you lean out to take that perfect selfie…so no taking photos on the train, thanks.
