You don’t need to own your own train to be a member. You don’t even need to want to drive a train. Although we do have two club trains that you can learn how to drive…and fix up too! You might also want to make tracks, grind, weld, plant trees, water the geraniums, build fences, cut the grass, cook sausages, make soup, operate signals, solder electronics, sell tickets, look after a heritage listed WWII Nissen Hut or do one of the many jobs that help manage 15,000m² (4 acres) of grounds and the 5 tonnes of steel that make up our miniature railway.
